We will be gearing up this month to prepare for our mid-May sectional.  Plan to come to the volunteers’ luncheon on Friday, April 13, at 11:30.  Chairman Maxine Doughton and food Chairman Lee Roberts are counting on lots of help.  This is a major fundraiser for our club, and its success depends on all of us.  There are sign-up sheets posted on the back white-board showing much of the help we need.  Pick a time and a chore and pitch in!

Tuesday, April 24, is Lois Jamieson Day.  Lois expressed a wish to play bridge on her birthday—and we are going to make it a real celebration of this long-time member of our club.

We will be closed on Easter Sunday.  On April 15, we’ll celebrate spring with an ice cream social.  There will be a separate section for 0-299 players if warranted.  Sign-up sheets will be out for the open and 299er sections.  We have scheduled Sunday games every week at 2 p.m.  There will be sign-up sheets except for the first Sunday.  We plan to have a Swiss team and club championship on the last Sunday of the month—April 29.

Other Club Championships are set for April 14 and April 24.

Our FREE monthly mentoring session is scheduled for Thursday the 19th at 9:30 a.m.

Lynn Berg will offer a workshop on Cue-Bidding on Thursday the 26th at 9:30.  Charge for this session is $10.

Everyone should be aware that we have several dedicated Handicapped parking spaces on either side of the front door.  Please display your handicapped parking permit if you want to use one of these spaces.

So long to all our snow-bird friends.  We look forward to seeing you in the Fall.  Don’t forget, we offer a full schedule of classes and games all summer.
